when everything is gray

when everything gets dark

and the screams are heard in silence

when the raindrops

they form dimples in tears

and the hands remain empty

dreams seem distant

nightmares arise out of nowhere

they submerge you and sink you

and you fall on the cliff

on the precipice of dawn

the birds are left without voice and without wings

the snow covers everything

and now white is death

blue is terror

and the soul is inert

love hides

scary throbbing

behind the corner of the end

sleepy in white hours

nostalgia invents memories

leads them in sadness

and bury them in a vacuum.
