my hands found treasure when my eyes gleamed from the sparkling cravings for stones and mud

for the falsehoods that they shouted with caresses with kisses in promises

with clear eyes, warm bodies

my desires were gone with the lustful vanity of owning it all

they flew when they saw the pretty faces

dreaming of sinking into the padded softness of loving

and the authentic shine slipped from my fingers

the golden hair in the reflection of a beautiful spring

it was lost from my sight

it was gone forever and still out of breath

I just stared into the mists

but my pleas opened the crack of fate

and now i see a little warm light

announcing me, and giving me a second chance.
